Economists find link between same-sex marriage and lower HIV rates.
There may be a connection between public tolerance and health risks, says a study from Emory University. Economists Andrew M. Francis and Hugo M. Mialon have found a link between acceptance of same-sex marriage and lower HIV rates, which they detail in their working paper, “Tolerance and HIV.”
