Gay Mental Health Crisis?
Homosexuals and bisexuals seek more mental health services than do heterosexuals.
Gays, lesbians and bisexuals are twice as likely as heterosexuals to seek treatment for mental health or substance abuse issues, says a large-scale study using data from the California Health Interview Survey. Researchers worked with collaborators from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
